September 12, 2004—Coming as no surprise to those already involved, the "supply chain event management" (SCEM) space will benefit significantly from RFID, according to an analyst with ARC Advisory Group. After a number of tough years, including a burst bubble that saw tens of millions of venture capital lost to the SCEM niche, the relatively low profile survivors have been making good money. Yantra, Optum, and Savi are a few of the participants in the niche market which saw almost 30% cumulative annual growth since 2000.
