RFID in Fashion preconference seminar at
RFID Journal LIVE! Europe 2008, which will be held Nov. 4-6 at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague.
The
RFID in Fashion preconference seminar will showcase the benefits of employing
radio frequency identification in the apparel and fashion industries, and will feature the following speakers:

NP Collection, revealing how his company, a maker of women's clothing, has deployed RFID to increase the speed and accuracy of its shipments

Bill Hardgrave, director of the
University of Arkansas' RFID Research Center, explaining how RFID can be utilized in loss prevention

Anja Olbertz, program manager for
GS1 Germany, discussing the challenges faced by
Galeria Kaufhof and other retailers in the
BRIDGE project ("

frequency IDentification solutions for the

Environment"), how they overcame such obstacles and the results of this groundbreaking deployment in the retail apparel sector

Roberto Montanari, a professor of industrial plants at the
University of Parma, describing the work his lab has conducted with Italian fashion houses to reduce counterfeiting
