This globally operating company has applied for 160 worldwide patents on products, machines and manufacturing processes in the identification technology sector; 72 have already been registered, 88 are still pending.
ASK: This French company manufactures contactless smart cards based on the proposed ISO 14443 standards. The cards can be personalized to the specificity and demands of the client. The companys a C.ticket solution for mass transit applications, and secure access cards for governments, university campuses, stadiums, museums, and other facilities. These cards can be combined with loyalty schemes. ASK is also involved in multi-application scheme, including E-purses. Its contactless ISO cards are made in Sophia-Antipolis in the south of France, and it has commercial offices in Paris and Hong-Kong.

Fleischhauer: This in Bochum, Germany-based company manufactures RFID cards, labels and coins based on 13,56 MHz and 125 KHz transponders for the use in access control, parking and public transport.

Inside Contactless: A French semiconductor company (formerly Inside Technologies) concentrating on the development of contactless products and markets. The company is supplies contactless chips and readers, and offers various solutions for emerging markets like transport, access control, payment, identity, and electronic identification.
Logismart BV: A Dutch maker of smart card readers.
