Purchase the Lab Test Report

RFID Alliance Lab is a not-for-profit testing lab that produces reliable, unbiased reports on the performance of RFID products.

The RFID Alliance Lab has produced its second lab test report on the performance 9 commercially available RFID tags based on EPCglobal's Class 1 and Class 0 specifications. The Lab performed nearly 1 million read attempts on eachof nine RFID tag models. These tests were conducted in a scientifically controlled environment to ensure differences in performance were due solely to the design of the tags.

In this report, UHF EPC Tag Performance Evaluation, the RFID Alliance Lab examines a number of aspects of tag performance, including yield (what fraction of tags that you receive will actually work) and variance (the difference in the performance among tags of the same model). It also measured how quickly tags can be read, both in isolation and when other tags are present. (Learn more about the RFID Alliance Lab's UHF EPC Tag Performance Evaluation report.)
